Assessment Tasks
Firstly, you must update your portfolio each week throughout the semester. Your portfolio should contain three tasks –
- Task 1 (anything the lecturers tell you to include),
- Task 2 (your learning logs based on each week’s learning) and
- Task 3 (your PDP).
Based on your portfolio and PDP please write 1500 (+/-10%) words of reflection on, how this module learning helped you throughout the semester (week 1 to week 12) in your, Professional Development – Please draw insights on how learning from this module has developed your professional capabilities from week 1 to week 12 throughout the semester. How you have used and can use the learning form this module in your professional career. You may want to focus on assessment of skills (week 1), occupational choices (week 3), assessing yourself (week 7), CV writing and interview skills (week 5), negotiation skills (week 10) and coaching skills (week 9).
Personal Development – How this module has helped you in your personal development? You may want to focus on assessment of skills (week 1), self-leadership, emotional and multiple intelligence (week 2).
Academic Development – How this module has helped you in your academic development (week 1, 2 and 4).
Please note, it is mandatory that you use academic literature to support your reflection. Please use minimum 5 academic references.
Please attach your 12 weeks reflective commentary section (from the portfolio that you have been submitting in Weblearn each week) as an appendix.

General Information
- There is one assignment to complete on this module. This is an individual assessments.
- Each student must only submit using ONLY the Weblearn TurnItin link. Please follow the instructions provided in Weblearn’s “Online Assessment” folder. Your work will NOT be assessed if you failed to submit a copy online before 3pm on 6th May.
- Note: Your submissions must contain the full structure provided, i.e. cover page, table of content, references and appendix. And you must use Harvard referencing.
- You will be marked as fail if you have missed the deadline for online submission.
- Your assignment will be scanned by a plagiarism detecting tool (TurnItin). Your assignment must be a piece of personal and genuine work.
Assessment criteria
- Comprehension of task and requirements: Looking at how well you cover the assignment task in addressing your professional, personal and academic development. The learning logs are attached.
- Acquisition of knowledge and application: It is visible that the paper is based on the entries in your weekly learning log. Other sources have also been used to support your argument.
- Presentation and Referencing: Looking at the professional presentation by following the structure required, using headings and paragraphs to structure the work, no spelling, grammar and punctuation errors and a clear line of argument. Referencing follows the requirement of Harvard Referencing in text and list.

Specific Instructions
- You are expected to conduct adequate research and provide evidence to support your review, synthesis and discussion.
